How To Sign A Transaction

Signing transactions using the Namada Keychain extension is a simple process. This tutorial will guide you through the steps.
For this example, we’ll be using Namadillo, a browser-based end-user interface, to perform a staking transaction.

Step 1: Head to Namadillo

  1. Head to Namadillo which is a simple secure interface to shield your assets, stake your NAM and govern the Namada Protocol.
  2. Locate the "Stake" button and click on it.

Step 2: Proceed with Staking

  1. Click the "Stake" button again to confirm your intention to stake.

Step 3: Choose a Validator

  1. Select the validator(s) you wish to stake with.
  2. Enter the amount you want to allocate to this/these validator(s).
  3. Click the "Stake" button to proceed.

Step 4: Review the Transaction in Namada Keychain

  1. A window from the Namada Keychain extension will appear.
  2. If you wish, click on "View Data" to access detailed transaction information.

Step 5: Approve the Transaction

  1. Click on "Approve" to confirm the transaction.

Step 6: Authenticate

  1. Enter your password when prompted to complete the signing process.

Step 7: Success!

Congratulations! 🎉 You have successfully signed your transaction using the Namada Keychain extension.
