How To Access My Assets And See My Balances?

The Namada Keychain extension allows users to create and manage their accounts, as well as sign transactions. However, it needs to be connected to a Namadillo interface to view your assets and generate transactions.

To do so, simply head to the Namadillo interface and connect your wallet.  

How Can I transfer My $NAM?

Transferring your $NAM is currently not possible.
This feature will be available on Namadillo once the transfer function is activated, which will happen following the activation of Phase 5.

What Is A Transparent Address?

A transparent address, identified by the 'tnam' prefix, is a user-friendly identifier derived from a public key.

When transferring between transparent addresses, transaction details such as the sender, receiver, and amount are publicly visible.

What Is A Shielded Address?

A shielded address, identified by the 'znam' prefix, is a public-facing address that can be shared with others to enable private transactions.

Unlike transparent addresses, when transferring between shielded addresses, transaction details such as the sender, receiver, and amount remain hidden from anyone without the associated spending or viewing key.

What Is A Private Key?

A private key is a secret piece of data that acts as a digital signature for authorizing cryptocurrency transactions.

It is a crucial component of blockchain and cryptocurrency security, ensuring that only the rightful owner of the funds can access and control them.

What Is BIP39 Import?

BIP39 Import refers to the process of using a BIP39 mnemonic phrase (also known as a seed phrase) to restore or access a cryptocurrency wallet.

BIP39 is a standard in the cryptocurrency world that defines how a sequence of 12, 18, or 24 human-readable words is generated to serve as a backup and recovery method for your wallet's private keys.

How To Disconnect From A Connected Website?

If you wish to disconnect (remove permissions) from a site, you can do so in the Settings menu of Namada Keychain, under 'Connected Sites'.
