Step 2: Seed Phrase Precautions
A new screen will appear with two important reminders:
Back up your seed phrase: Your seed phrase is your only way to recover your wallet.
Do not share your seed phrase with anyone: Keep it secure and private at all times.
Once you’ve read the recommendations, click on "I understood, show my phrase" to proceed.
Step 3: Choose and Save Your Seed Phrase
Select your seed phrase length: The Namada extension lets you choose between a 12-word or a 24-word seed phrase. Click on your preferred option.
Reveal your seed phrase: Hover your mouse over the blurred area to display the words.
Securely back up your seed phrase: Write down the words on paper or save them in a secure location. This is critical for recovering your wallet if needed.
Proceed to the next step: After ensuring your seed phrase is securely saved, click "Next" to continue.
Step 4: Verify Your Seed Phrase and Configure Your Wallet
Verify your seed phrase: You’ll be asked to enter 2 specific words from your seed phrase to confirm that you’ve saved it correctly. Enter these words in the appropriate fields.
Name your wallet: Provide a name for your wallet to easily identify it later.
Set a password: Create a secure password for your wallet, and confirm it in the provided field.
Finalize the setup: Click "Next" to complete the wallet creation process.
